Cape st Francis watercolor Hotel

Watercolour hotel

The Watercolour Hotel is designed to mirror Cape St. Francis’s picturesque landscape. Inspired by the fluidity and transparency of watercolors, the hotel’s interior and exterior aesthetics showcase soft, organic forms, a muted color palette, and natural materials that evoke the calmness of the sea and the earthy warmth of the dunes. The selection of textures—linen, raw wood, and stone—enhances the tactile experience, while expansive windows and open spaces connect guests to the outdoors, celebrating the natural surroundings.

Rocky's Brewery

The design of Rocky's Brewery draws from the colours, textures, and patterns of the Indian rainforest. Shades of green, earthy browns, warm copper, and accents of yellow create a vibrant yet grounded colour palette that mirrors the forest floor and canopy. The brewery's interior is filled with cascading greenery, with plants growing from the ceiling in intricate patterns and scattered in pots throughout, creating a lush, organic atmosphere that brings nature indoors.

The Cargo Hold

The cargo hold design embodies the essence of an oyster, utilizing weathered wood, brass, and glass to convey resilience and beauty. Textured surfaces and rich, iridescent accents mimic the look of mother-of-pearl, while ambient lighting adds a sense of timeless mystery, enhancing the immersive experience for guests.

Lapalala Biodiversity center

The design for the Lapalala Wilderness School embraces circular forms and organic flow to mirror the flights patterns of a Bateleur eagle and create a welcoming, immersive learning experience. Inspired by the curves of the wilderness, the layout celebrates the indigenous areas and encourages exploration. Open spaces, expansive windows, and outdoor views blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, creating a constant visual connection to nature.
